Nice Kitty Media ("we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit this website, buy a book, join our list or send us a submission, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Orders: your name, email, shipping and billing address, and order details. Payments are processed by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card number.

  • Submissions: your name, email, phone (if given), the materials you upload (query, synopsis, sample pages or script) and payment confirmation. Submissions are collected through Jotform and paid through Stripe.

  • Newsletter: your email address, if you sign up.

  • Site use: basic analytics such as pages visited, device type and approximate location, collected through cookies by our website host, Squarespace.

How we use it

  • To fulfil orders, send receipts and handle returns.

  • To read, consider and reply to your submission.

  • To send our newsletter, only if you signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link.

  • To understand how the site is used and improve it.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it except with the services that help us run the business: Squarespace (website, store, email), Jotform (submission forms), Stripe and PayPal (payments) and our shipping carriers. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy.

Your submissions are confidential. Manuscripts and scripts are read only by the Nice Kitty Media team and are never shared outside the company without your permission.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require. Submissions that we pass on are deleted within [12 months]. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from emails, turn off cookies in your browser, or email us to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have additional rights, and we will honour them.

Children

Our site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. Submissions must come from an adult or with a parent or guardian's consent.
